Old Stables – Sunday 18th August 2019
The Old Stables North Walsham was the venue this week. 14 members made the trip meaning it was full house. The forecast was for sunshine but we had a little rain and even thunder.
With the level of water in the lake being rather low everyone expected a hard day fishing.
Jon Burton was fishing peg 15 and caught steadily all day for his first win of the summer weighing a very good 63lb 19oz.
Well done Jon!
Second place fishing peg 12 was Mark Harmer who had a fun day trying to pull carp from the lilies and successfully weighed 47lb 13oz. Good job Mark!
Third place fishing peg 16 was Mark Charlwood. He caught some nice carp and weighed 33lb 2oz. Well done Mark!
