Cobble Acre – Sunday 11th August 2019

Dave Agass in the frame again winning this week with 39lb 8oz
One of the young kingfishers which kept sitting on peoples poles throughout the match

14 members made the trip today to see if they can win this competition. The weather was sunny and quite warm with  strong wind which would make fishing rather difficult. At the draw bag Mark Seaman pulled peg 1 out and everyone thought they were fishing for second place. But unluckily for him Dave Agass had different plans. He was fishing peg 8 and ran out the winner with a total weight of 39lb  8oz . Well done Dave! ( everyone wants to know what they gave you in hospital 😀)

Second place goes to John Higginson who was fishing peg 6 and weighed 27lb 8oz which included one carp which was over 10lb. Well done John!

Having drawn peg 1 Mr Seaman was still in the frame coming third with 26lb 10oz.

Well done Mark!
