The final round of Stalham and district A.C.summer series was at Martham pit B 17 members turned up this week dreaming of catching a lot of big fish and winning, though the weather forecast was for heavy showers and possible thunder.
Mark Seaman was the winner weighing 34lb. Second
place goes to Tony Wilkinson marking his return from Africa who
weighed 25lb 10oz which was a mix of small and large bream.
Third place was Trevor Dodson who weighed 22lb
Well done to them three!
It fished really hard for everybody else.
Congratulations goes to Mark Harmer who was this
year’s winner of the summer points!
I’d like to say on behalf of all the members who
fished the summer a really big thank you to Dave Agass for all his
hard work organising all the matches.
13 members made the long trip this week. The
weather was cloudy with sunny spells and much cooler than recently.
We even had a nice heavy shower at the end.
With the draw done and everybody was ready to go,
the match started.
Mark Harmer was the winner this week. He was
fishing peg 13 which turned out to be his lucky number. He caught
carp down the edge and weighed 68lb 12oz.
Second place goes to Alex Watson who once again
was fishing peg 4. He weighed 54lb which is about a half of his
normal weight from this peg?
